Sword Art Online may have its ups and downs as a show, but overall, its openings are consistently really good, and this is true of Alicization. There are a few different versions of the opening song used throughout Sword Art Online Alicization, but my personal favorite is the second version, linked below for your viewing pleasure (although the fourth version is also very good). The song is catchy and it expertly balances gorgeous, action packed animation and symbolic visuals for each character’s arc. I’ve been listening to this on repeat since I finished watching the first half of Alicization, and when I get around to watching its second half, I hope the opening is just as good as this one.
