A Bit of News: Blogging and Zelda Informer

I don’t normally go into decently personal content here on Objection Network, but I wanted to share some news. I’ve been following Zelda Informer pretty consistently for a long time now, and not long ago, they had a call for new Original Content Editors. They’ve had calls for new writers in the past, but I always chickened out and never sent in a resume or writing samples. This time though, I thought I should just give it a try because the worst that could happen was that they would say no, but at least I gave it a shot.

I got an email back, and after a quick interview, I officially became an Original Content Editor at Zelda Informer. This past month has been devoted to basic training as well as brainstorming the content I want to write. Tomorrow, my pieces will start being published, ranging from editorials to Daily Debates and I’m really excited to share them with you!

What does this mean for Objection Network? It won’t impact it all. I still plan to primarily blog here with all of the random video game and anime content I can think of, but I’ll be devoting more Zelda-themed topics to Zelda Informer. Writing for two websites is a first for me, and I’m looking forward to the challenge.

I also wanted to thank the readers who have followed me for the last few years with their kind comments and likes. It’s definitely helped me gain confidence in my writing, and was ultimately the reason I gained the courage to apply for this writing opportunity at Zelda Informer. This is an exciting step in my small blogging career, but I hope you’ll enjoy the new addition too!

  1. Yay! That’s awesome! Congratulations! 🙂 One piece of advice I would say you should always remember is don’t sell yourself short on anything. If there’s an opportunity you really want just go for it. Maybe you’ll get it or maybe you won’t. What matters is you tried. It’s better to know you gave it your best shot rather than not knowing at all. I think the worst thing is never knowing what could have been if you didn’t take that first initial step. I’m also confident you’ll be perfectly capable of handling the challenge of writing for two websites at the same time. 😀

    1. Thanks so much! Hah hah, that is great advice that I will definitely keep in mind for sure. 😀 My goal is to make sure that the quality is equal between both sites. Here’s hoping! 😀
