The calendar has turned to October and that means the end of two months of top 25 lists. Samus finished in the #1 spot yesterday, matching Link’s performance on the males side from the end of August.
We still have a little bit more to go in the way of coverage before we bring this crazy train into the station. Tomorrow, we’ll take a look at the combined list of best characters, both male and female (spoiler alert: neither Link nor Samus is on top of that list). Heading into the weekend, we’ll switch gears and get our panels thoughts on how everything turned out, and then we’ll close things out with our picks for the WORST video game characters ever made.
After that? Then I’m taking a break, because these things take a lot of time to put together. Between all of the posts in the last couple months, we’ve written somewhere around 75,000 words — most of them by Shaun and myself. We already have some plans for our next top 25 list, which will debut on January 1st as the new year begins.
