Good episode!
I’m not sure I would write off the study quite as much as you guys did though. Certainly a stupid study, for sure. But as you guys almost talked about (twice) people might see that they were writing a “bad” word and then make a second decision to write a different “good” one. I would imagine the scientists responsible for the study would see this phenomenon as results they were looking for, rather than people breaking the rules and not writing the first word that came to mind (were they actually asked for the first word?). The results seem to indicate that the pissed off people didn’t care that it was a bad word, so it did, in fact, affect their decision making.
