Even though it was several months ago, the time has finally come to acknowledge that we crushed the 250,000 hits plateau!

We crossed the 250k line sometime around September. And right around when we were getting ready to put a bonus video together…well, the whole no-internet thing happened for three months. That issue has been well documented around these parts lately, so we won’t talk about it here.

Still, getting to a quarter of a million hits is pretty cool, especially considering how slow things were in the very beginning. Building a website from scratch is harder than I thought it would be, but at the same time, getting anywhere near this many hits is still a concept I have a hard time believing. And it’s thanks to you folks, who have come here and dropped hundreds of comments and checked out the more than a thousand articles we have around these parts.

This bonus video is something of a first for us. I picked up a new camera last summer, but so far the only thing we managed to use it for was part of an episode in Vegas. So this time, we decided to join up with all the cool kids and do an unboxing video of a TOTALLY NEW, RED-HOT SYSTEM. (Granted, this wasn’t even true back when we recorded this video, let alone now, but…)

So without further ado, here’s a video of us unboxing Shaun’s new Wind Waker Wii U. The next special video will come at 500,000 hits — and we’re already on our way there.
