The Return of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”

In news that makes two thirds of At the Buzzer very happy, Colin Mochrie confirmed over twitter that “Whose Line Is It Anyway” will be returning to television.

For those of you that don’t know about it, you should probably just stop reading and kill yourselves now, because Whose Line was one of the most consistently funny shows ever. The cast was hilarious and well-rounded, and it’s still hard to believe all of their material was complete improv. Their chemistry was incredible, and it’s what you can have when guys with immense comedic talent combine that with years of working together. When we started our podcast, one of our paradigms for chemistry and interplay was the group on Whose Line, so it’s nice to see they’re going to get another run.

The best.
The best.

Details are scarce, but Ryan Stiles has confirmed his return, and apparently Aisha Tyler (?) is going to be the new host. I’m not in the camp that thinks Drew Carey is irreplaceable, but Tyler as a host is an…interesting choice, to say the least. I’ll give her a shot though. As long as the points continue not to matter, I’m a happy man.

Here’s hoping they get Wayne Brady back as well. Here’s a clip from one of the show’s funniest skits, featuring Richard Simmons. Enjoy.

    1. You misunderstood, I know you love it. The problem is you actually make up 2/3 of ATB BECAUSE YOU’RE SO FAT.

Jk. Love youuuuuuuu. I actually forgot that you were a fan. It was an erroneous statement, and I apologize.
