2012 Stats in Review

“The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog,” says the automatic text at the start of this post. I guess they’re talented monkeys or something. And there’s fireworks at the link below, so that’s nice.

I can say this much: 2012 kicked 2011’s ass. We increased our website views more than tenfold. Hell, we had more views in December than we did in all of 2011. We’re continuing to grow pretty quickly, and hoping for even more from 2013.

Remember, we’re back from our break tomorrow with a ton of announcements and a huge feature for the month of January. So stick around past the fireworks and champagne to find out what’s happening with At the Buzzer next year and beyond.

Here’s an excerpt:

19,000 people fit into the new Barclays Center to see Jay-Z perform. This blog was viewed about 79,000 times in 2012. If it were a concert at the Barclays Center, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
