Once upon a time, getting to 10,000 hits seemed like an uphill battle.

We worked hard to build the site in 2011, but at the end of the year we had just over 6,000 hits. Not too shabby considering we started from nothing and didn’t have much of a way to start growing an audience, but it was still a work in progress. Setting up these little incentives for hitting certain plateaus seemed like a no-brainer.

Now I’m having to put these together with alarming (and fulfilling) frequency.

It’s a good problem to have. It’s nice seeing the work pay off and having people give us solid feedback. Now, I feel like once we get to 50,000 I’ll probably stop posting these every 10k, and switch to something else. But in the meantime, a deal is a deal. So here is a bonus video for 30k — it’s more golf! Well, sort of. You’ll have to watch to see for yourself.
